Michael Jackson Songs

Michael Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009).
One of, if not the most, famous recording artist ever! Known as the king of Pop (pop music), Michael was one of the best selling artists in history.
On June 25, 2009 Michael Jackson was pronounced dead at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center at roughly 2:25pm. Jackson's death is one in a series of shocking Hollywood deaths lately. Also recently deceased are TV infomerical and pitch man Billy Mays (OxyClean), David Carradine (Kill Bill movies, Kung Fu TV series), and Farrah Fawcett (Charlie's Angels). While all of these recent deaths made headlines, it seems as if Michael Jackson's death shadows all of the other three.
Michael Jackson dominates iTunes
Eight of iTunes top 10 songs have been dominated by Michael today. Michael's total domination of iTunes was only foiled by the Black Eyed Peas. Other than the two songs the Black Eyed Peas managed to hit, Michael reigns supreme.
Today's iTunes rankings:
- Man in The Mirror (Michael Jackson)
- I Gotta Feeling (Black Eyed Peas)
- The Way You Make Me Feel (Michael Jackson)
- Boom Boom Pow (Black Eyed Peas)
- Billie Jean (Michael Jackson)
- Black or White (Michael Jackson)
- Smooth Criminal (Michael Jackson)
- Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough (Michael Jackson)
- Thriller (Michael Jackson)
- P.Y.T. [Pretty Young Thing] (Michael Jackson)

Lonesome Dove
Lonesome Dove
One of my favorite films that I have rented lately. Lonesome Dove was a miniseries on television circa 1989. The entire cast is a star studded extravaganza. The cast ranges from Robert Duvall to Tommy Lee Jones. Along for the ride is a boat load of other talented stars including Diane Lane, Danny Glover, and Steve Buscemi.
Cast: (not in its entirety)
- Robert Duvall (Gus McCrae)
- Tommy Lee Jones (Woodrow F. Call)
- Steve Buscemi (Luke)
- Danny Glover (Deets)
- Diane Lane (Lorena "Lori" Wood)
- Frederic Forrest (Blue Duck)
- Robert Urich (Jake Spoon)
- D.B. Sweeney (Dish Boggett)
- Rick Schroder (Newt Dobbs)
- Chris Cooper (July Johnson)
- Anjelica Huston (Clara Allen)
- Nina Siemaszko (Janey)
The movie consists of 384 minutes of run time! It's not at all tedious as Gus (Robert Duvall) will keep you entertained with his delightful mouthiness. Tommy Lee Jones (as Woodrow) gives an outstanding performance as his character struggles with fatherhood and overcoming a stone cold heart. Diane Lane plays the convincing part of an old saloon whore, which I found to be funny seeing here in a role like this. She does a great job, and creates a very lovable character.
The whole movie (or series, I guess I should say) is complete classic western. The Film is premised around a cattle drive from Texas to Montana. It is most definitely a nostalgic feeling movie, but a great one none-the-less. Make sure to check it out!

3AM Song Lyrics-Rob Thomas Acoustic
It's actually 3:00 am for me. I'm up so late, and I am playing online at Full Tilt. I decided when 3AM rolled around, that I'd play the song by Rob Thomas. I came across this piano acoustic version. He talks a little about the song's origins and his mother having cancer. Enjoy the video and song lyrics below. 3 AM by Rob Thomas.
3AM Lyrics- Rob Thomas- Matchbox20
(By Rob Thomas, John Leslie Goff, John Joseph Stanley, Brian Yale)
She says it's cold outside and she hands me my raincoat
She's always worried about things like that
She says it's all gonna end and it might as well be my fault
And she only sleeps when it's raining
And she screams and her voice is straining
She says baby
It's 3 am I must be lonely
When she says baby
Well I can't help but be scared of it all sometimes
Says the rain's gonna wash away
I believe it
She's got a little bit of something,
God it's better than nothing
And in her color portrait world she believes that she's got it all
She swears the moon don't hang quite as high as it used to
And she only sleeps when it's raining
And she screams and her voice is straining
[chorus]
She believes that life is made up of all that you're used to
And the clock on the wall has been stuck at three for days, and days
She thinks that happiness is a mat that sits on her doorway
But outside it's stopped raining
[chorus]
