Song Lyrics | Journey – Any Way You Want It

Any Way You Want It Song Lyrics - By Journey

This little Journey tune, honest to God, reminds of car commercials. Maybe not just car commercials, but commercials in general. I have probably heard it on at least seven or eight through out the years.

Don't take this as me ripping on Journey, because this song is really good. It's got a huge, recognizable intro. It's just one of those... well, I don't want to cheapen it by calling it "happy go lucky," but essentially that is what it is. One of those happy go lucky songs.

This track made it onto VH1's 100 Greatest Hard Rock Songs. Hard Rock? Well, not in my book. Although, worthy of being on top 100 list.

Journey Lyrics - Any Way You It:

Any way you want it
That's the way you need it
Any way you want it

She loves to laugh
She loves to sing
She does everything
She loves to move
She loves to groove
She loves the lovin' things

Ooh, all night, all night
Oh, every night
So hold tight, hold tight
Ooh baby, hold tight

Oh, she said
Any way you want it
That's the way you need it
Any way you want it
She said, Any way you want it
That's the way you need it
Any way you want it

I was alone
I never knew
What good love could do
Ooh, then we touched
Then we sang
About the lovin' things

Ooh, all night, all night
Oh, every night
So hold tight, hold tight
Ooh baby, hold tight

Oh, she said,
Any way you want it
That's the way you need it
Any way you want it
She said, Any way you want it
That's the way you need it
Any way you want it

She said, Hold on
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on
Hold on, hold on, hold on, baby

Oh, she said,
Any way you want it
That's the way you need it
Any way you want it
Any way you want it
That's the way you need it
Any way you want it

Oh, she said,
Any way you want it
That's the way you need it
Any way you want it
Any way you want it
That's the way you need it
Any way you want it

Any way you want it
That's the way you need it
Any way you want it
Any way you want it
That's the way you need it
Any way you want it

Any way you want it
That's the way you need it
Any way you want it
Any way you want it
That's the way you need it
Any way you want it

Any way you want it
That's the way you need it
Any way you want it

(From YouTube)

While writing the last post about Rusted Root, I came across The Dear Abbeys on YouTube. They actually covered Send Me On My Way, which was the song for the last post. They also have covered You Get What You Give, by The New Radicals, which I blogged about back in January. I have since found their version of Feel Good Inc. by the Gorillaz (which is also another song I like). Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay is another timeless song they cover! I'm going to post a few videos of The Dear Abbeys. Watch and enjoy.
