September 3, 2009 I wrote about my favorite TV show. Pawn Stars, on the History Channel.This is a show I'd told people about all the time. I had been watching Pawn Stars practically since its debut. No one that I had mentioned it to had even heard of the show. Well, I went to Las Vegas Nevada this spring and thought I'd check out the scene of my favorite show. Maybe meet the Pawn Stars themselves. Sure enough, by the time I got to Las Vegas, people had finally heard about this show.

Richard Harrison -
"The Old Man"

Richard Harrison is the oldest of the Pawn Star crew. He is the owner along with his son, Rick Harrison. Also known as the "Old Man," Richard is often seen as the demanding hard ass of the group. He served in the U.S. Navy in his youth, and now has a passion for mid-shift naps. The Old Man is a no-bullshit kind of guy.

Rick Harrison -

Rick Harrison is the other co-owner of  Gold and Silver Pawn shop. Rick is the son of Richard Harrison, and father to Corey "Big Hoss" Harrison. Rick is often shown expressing his love for Americana and educating would be sellers on historical events and items.

Corey Harrison -
"Big Hoss"

Corey Harrison has been around the pawn shop since the age of nine. Working for his grandfather and his dad, negotiation is not a skill to Corey, but second nature. Corey not only works along side his family, but his best friend Chumlee.

Austin Russell -
"Chumlee"

Chumlee is the antique weapons tester. Sometimes voluntary, sometimes not. Chumlee's favorite phrases are "cool," "awesome," and "hey Big Hoss." While it's easy to stereotype Chum as the village idiot... he is anything but. Chum pipes up from time to time and educates his co-workers. Most memorably when he drops a little pinball machine knowledge on his best friend Corey. He's the poster boy for work ethic.
