Taylor Swift Christmas Album

Taylor Swift Christmas Album
Country Music's Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift, America's newest sweet heart. Is her music really country music? Is she really pop? Is she really dating Taylor Lautner (Jacob) of Twilight? Why did Kanye West harass Taylor Swift at the VMA's?

It's funny, a few years ago, I attended a George Strait concert. This little blond girl came out as an opening act, and did a very impressive job. She wrote her own songs and played an instrument! I was impressed with Swift's talent. Although, I never imagined she'd be tomorrow's next superstar.

As my friend and I were leaving the concert, she was at a table out in the lobby. A semi-long line had formed for her, and she was signing her CDs, posters, and merchandise. I bought an autographed CD and poster. Thinking I'd help support her and encourage her music career. Not knowing how much of a phenomenon she'd become.

I suspect Taylor Swift is on a lot of Christmas lists this year. It made me kind of curious to see if she had a holiday album. Sure enough, I found the Taylor Swift Christmas album:

If there is one song that Swift sings, that gets stuck in my head more than any other, it's Teardrops On My Guitar. I saw this one the night I saw her in concert. It's the song I know her best for. If you don't know it, I'll post the song lyrics below.

Taylor Swift, Teardrops On My Guitar Lyrics:

Drew looks at me,
I fake a smile so he won't see
That I want and I'm needing
Everything that we should be

I'll bet she's beautiful,
That girl he talks about
And she's got everything that I have to live without

Drew talks to me,
I laugh cause it's so damn funny
That I can't even see
Anyone when he's with me

He says he's so in love,
He's finally got it right,
I wonder if he knows he's all I think about at night

He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star
He's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do

Drew walks by me,
Can't he tell that I can't breathe?
And there he goes,
So perfectly,
The kind of flawless I wish I could be

She'd better hold him tight,
Give him all her love
Look in those beautiful eyes
And know she's lucky cause

He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star
He's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do

So I drive home alone,
As I turn out the light
I'll put his picture down and maybe
Get some sleep tonight

'Cuz He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
The only one who's got enough of me to break my heart
He's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do
He's the time taken up,
But there's never enough
And he's all that I need to fall into.

Drew looks at me,
I fake a smile so he won't see
