Song Lyrics|Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody

Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen

Queen the band
Seen Wayne's World lately? The reason I ask, is that any time I hear Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, I can't help but think of that scene from Wayne's world.

Wayne and Garth rocking out in that little car. Singing the song almost perfectly on que with the actual band. They may have introduced banging on a national level. Anyway, here are the lyrics.

Bohemian Rhapsody Lyrics:

Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide
No escape from reality
Open your eyes
Look up to the skies and see
I'm just a poor boy (Poor boy)
I need no sympathy
Because I'm easy come, easy go
Little high, little low
Any way the wind blows
Doesn't really matter to me, to me

Mama just killed a man
Put a gun against his head
Pulled my trigger, now he's dead
Mama, life has just begun
But now I've gone and thrown it all away
Mama, ooh
Didn't mean to make you cry
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow
Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters

Too late, my time has come
Sends shivers down my spine
Body's aching all the time
Goodbye, everybody
I've got to go
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth
Mama, oooooooh (Anyway the wind blows)
I don't want to die
Sometimes wish I'd never been born at all

[Guitar Solo]

I see a little silhouetto of a man
Scaramouch, Scaramouch, will you do the Fandango
Thunderbolt and lightning, very, very frightening me
(Galileo) Galileo (Galileo) Galileo, Galileo Figaro
Magnifico-o-o-o-o
I'm just a poor boy nobody loves me
He's just a poor boy from a poor family
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

Easy come, easy go, will you let me go?
Bismillah! No, we will not let you go
Let him go
Bismillah! We will not let you go
Let him go
Bismillah! We will not let you go
Let me go (Will not let you go)
Let me go (Will not let you go) (Never, never, never, never)
Let me go, o, o, o, o
No, no, no, no, no, no, no
(Oh mama mia, mama mia) Mama Mia, let me go
Beelzebub has the devil put aside for me, for me, for me!

So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye
So you think you can love me and leave me to die
Oh, baby, can't do this to me, baby
Just gotta get out, just gotta get right outta here

[Guitar Solo]
(Oooh yeah, Oooh yeah)

Nothing really matters
Anyone can see
Nothing really matters
Nothing really matters to me

Any way the wind blows...

Song Lyrics|Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead Or Alive

Wanted Dead or Alive - By Bon Jovi

Bon Jovi Wanted Dead or Alive
"What's that song from Deadliest Catch on the Discovery channel?" That is what I always ask myself. Either that or it's "What is that Bon Jovi song where the lyrics are about being a cowboy and a on a steel horse I ride?" Well, the name of the song is Wanted Dead or Alive.

Bon Jovi has even made it onto VH1's 100 Greatest Hard Rock Songs list.

The Lyrics:

It's all the same, only the names will change
Everyday it seems we're wasting away
Another place where the faces are so cold
I'd drive all night just to get back home

(x 2)

I'm a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride
I'm wanted dead or alive
Wanted dead or alive

Sometimes I sleep, sometimes it's not for days
And the people I meet always go their separate ways
Sometimes you tell the day
By the bottle that you drink
And times when you're alone all you do is think

(Chorus)

I walk these streets, a loaded six string on my back
I play for keeps, 'cause I might not make it back
I been everywhere, and I'm standing tall
I've seen a million faces an I've rocked them all

I'm a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride
I'm wanted dead or alive
I'm a cowboy, I got the night on my side
I'm wanted dead or alive
And I ride, dead or alive
I still drive, dead or alive
Dead or alive
Dead or alive (x 2)

Rock Sugar | Don't Stop The Sandman

Rock Sugar Band Logo

Rock Sugar - Music

What do you get when you mix Journey's Don't Stop Believin' with Metallica's Enter Sandman? You get Rock Sugar! Guess what else? IT'S NOT BAD!

The music video (posted here) starts off with text:

"In 1989, Hollywood Heavy Metal band Rock Sugar was stranded on a deserted island.

For the last 20 years, the only music they had to listen to was the 80's pop CD collection of a 13 year old girl.

And now...

Rock Sugar has come home."

The music is as good, as it is funny. The vocals are spot on, the pace is perfect, and they did a really good job of covering Metallica. While I'm still not sure if Rock Sugar is a spoof, or just an awesome, original hybrid mix... the are unarguably entertaining.

The video is already somewhat of a Youtube phenomenon, with over 150,000 (currently, as I type this post). It had a 3,000 hit increase within the last 24 minutes on Youtube. I'm sure you'll be hearing about Rock Sugar, if you haven't already.

Enjoy
